Most of us think of coaching as setting goals, achieving more, or fixing what’s “wrong.” But the deepest form of coaching isn’t about fixing anything, it’s about remembering who you really are beneath the noise of fear, doubt, and conditioning. It starts with truth- are you being honest with yourself?

Although it can be useful to set ourselves goals, coaching isn’t just about action, it’s about awakening. When we choose to face ourselves - the good, the bad and the ugly, we’re able to distinguish what’s real and what’s illusory. We take ourselves off autopilot and start questioning which voices belong to us.

Often, we build our entire lives around what we think we should do - what we've been taught - rather than what we truly desire. Sometimes we end up measuring ourselves by success rather than happiness.

Much of our behaviour is driven by the limiting beliefs we’ve picked up from society, our upbringing and past experiences. Therefore, our behaviour may be built upon other people’s beliefs and expectations rather than what is inner most aligned to ourselves.

Transformative coaching is about guiding you back to that deeper knowing. It’s the process of peeling back the layers that keep you disconnected from your authentic self. The self that can guide you towards a life where you lead and create from truth as opposed to programming and conditioning.

A great example of this could be a marriage or long-term partnership, and the programming around ‘for better or for worse’. I’m certainly not suggesting that we flee from our partners as soon as things become challenging, but how many of us exist within a relationship that is no longer bringing us joy or fulfilment? Maybe we worry that the children will suffer so we put our happiness on pause.

Transformation doesn’t come from adding more, it comes from remembering what’s already within you. When you embody your truth, you return to that inner wisdom. Daily life shifts from striving to flowing, and we find ourselves able to make decisions from love rather than from fear.

So if you're looking for real transformation or something inside you is longing for more -more authenticity, more alignment, more you, perhaps this is where that journey begins.
